This beautiful, rustic, yet elegant Shabby Chic Wedding Album was so much fun to create! The burlap cover makes the perfect background for the doily, the lace, pearls, and ribbons.  I created the paper flowers myself, by using a template I downloaded and then printed from my computer. I selected the paper they were to be printed on, and painstakingly fussy-cut each and every single layer.

At the center of each hand-made flower, I attached a single flat-back pearl.  The corners were embellished with stickers, and the pretty butterfly is from the Martha Stewart collection.  The pearl strands were curled and hot-glued to the burlap.

12x12 Wedding Scrapbook Album

I thought I would share with you today, one of the many scrapbook albums that I have created.  This one was a custom hand-made 12x12 Wedding Scrapbook.

The lady who commissioned this album had specific wants.  The wedding album had to be blue and cream in color. It had to have a vintage look, with laces and pearls.  It also contained 4 pages that had to be distressed a certain way, so that it would provide her with the style she was looking for.  It took me approximately 4 weeks to complete this scrapbook, and although it was a heck of a lot of work, I would gladly do it again!

Another BlogPost Digital Image File for Sale on my Etsy Store

I just wanted to show a sample of a Digital Image that I created. I will be adding more Digital Images in my Etsy Shop, Decor8yourlife, as time progresses. I'm in the process of adding digital files for Etsy Shop Owners, Blog Owners, website owners, etc. You will find that my prices are very affordable, and you get a lot for your money. Although I don't do custom work on Digital Files, I do take suggestions. If you have any images you would like to see uploaded to my Etsy Store, just let me know. Oh yeah, and by the way, I keep it clean folks. No adult images, or anything that may be considered questionable. I'm a mom with kids who have access to my desktop. My kids have access to my office at any given time, and I would hate them to catch me working on something that's just not according to our values. Thank you.

Hello there! Welcome to Decor8yourlife on Blogger! Please bear with me as I figure out the ins and outs of blogger. I know. I know. It's 2015 and I'm just making my way to Google Blogger! What's my excuse? Well... I do have a website of my own that I've been working on for the past couple of years. Maybe you've heard of it? It's called Decor8yourlife.com In it you will find Decorating and Crafting Ideas that I have found through the web. There are a number of fabulous designers out there. Instead of visiting a thousand plus websites for design ideas, I thought, Hey! Why not have my favorite ones sit in one website! I could go on about my background and what drives me to keep a constant watch on the digital world, but I won't bore you with the details. The name of it is, Decor8yourlife. Who would've guessed? My Youtube Decor8yourlife channel is also about Decorating and Crafting Ideas. There is one particular work of art that interests me the most; and that is Scrapbooking. When you get a chance to head on over to my Youtube channel, you will see have an opportunity to see my work as well as the work of other great crafters and designers.
